No Haters Allowed!

Based on the events of the previous 3 days, I feel compelled to share this quote:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Taken from Nelson Mandela’s Inaugural Speech, possibly originally written by Marianne Williamson.

This is something I come back to again and again, when negative events pop up in my life, and try to steal my joy. This usually happens when I am working on being grateful and thankful for all the good that is in my life and that I want to manifest in my life. It’s like there is a little gremlin out there saying, “Oh yeah? Watch this!” and ZING! Something will show up to steal my happiness. But I now have decided that rather than give in to this negative vibration, I will now become MORE grateful, and HAPPIER! HA! Take that, old gremlin! I am so thankful and grateful for all the good in my life!
